Asbestos was recently discovered in the Hale Road Elementary School in Painesville, Ohio. This discovery has threatened to delay the start of the approaching school year.
Superintendent James Kalis ensured parents and students that the school and its support staff are working to remedy the situation.
Kalis also said that he is doing everything in his power to locate an alternate school location, if necessary, so that the school year is not delayed and students are not adversely affected.
